On our way north we decided to visit a town called South West Rocks where we saw lovely beach with regular beach, small cove beach (see me wading) and walking paths.

But even better Dirk saw sign for towering lighthouse which was fabulous for views and where we finally saw our first kangaroos among the trees.

Then off to Dorringo National Park to walk in rain forest and visit the Crystal Shower Falls. Turns out it was up one of those scary, snake turns roads and I was driving! When I pulled over to let some cars pass Dirk saw a mountain lookout sign and we headed there-the Griffith lookout of the Great Divide Mountains between the ocean and inland. Wow!!

The rainforest walk was nice with a number of high walks but no Crystal Falls for us- we were too late in the day.

We stayed in a motel in Coffs Harbour. Nice beach.
